Jenifer Aniston Undergoes an onscrean Tress formation
For HOT CELEBRITY Jenifer Aniston new role as a traveling saleswoman in the film Management, which hits theaters today,JENIFER ANISTON trades her famous head of perfectly tousled hair for a darker auburn bob that’s a distinctive departure from her signature relaxed glamour. “She wanted to look very different,” says Melissa A. Yonkey, her hairstylist on the film, “but didn’t want to cut or dye her hair.” Jen’s solution? A $10,000 custom wig created by her offscreen hair guru Chris McMillan. “The color was very complimentary on her. She’s got wonderful warm skin,” says Yonkey. And the new look was all for the sake of art. “With that blond hair, she’s very known as Jennifer Aniston.” says Yonkey, “and I think sometimes that takes away from watching the story”. But don’t think the hairstylist wasn’t at least a little worried about taking style risks with one of America’s most famous movie stars. “I was actually very, very concerned,” she says. “She’s so well-known for her hair that I was waiting for a lot of backlash. But I haven’t had it yet.”

Hot celebrity Hilary Duff has come a long way from her Disney princess days. Not only is the former child star gearing up to play the lead in a remake of the classic outlaw flick Bonnie and Clyde, she’s also getting ready to release the downtown cool clothing line that we told you about back in February. And at an AIDS charity event this week, Hilary chatted about her new ventures, including her collection with DKNY. The actress admits to Nylon Online that Femme for DKNY is “kind of a selfish line, because it’s skinny jeans, which look the best on me.” Hilary also included fun personal touches like multiple-size belt loops. “Sometimes I want to wear a skinny little belt wrapped around a million times, or sometimes I want to wear a really fat one that won’t ever stay in place, slung low. So it just has a lot of options,” she explains. And while Hilary was sure to include her style favorites, her design wheels started spinning with inspiration from “normal girls.” “I’ll be walking down the street and think, oh she looks cute!” Hilary says. “Especially being in New York because everyone has such unique styles. And it’s not people who have a ton of money or have a huge closet, but it”s people wearing what they love and having a unique way of putting it together.

"Oh my God," Winslet, 33, tells June's U.K. edition of marie claire about her parents' economic struggles to raise her, her two sisters, Beth and Anna, and their brother, Joss, in Reading, England. "We were supported through the majority of my schooling by an organization called the Actors' Charitable Trust."
Though both parents listed their profession as actors, mother Sally toiled in a local pub, while father Roger long worked to overcome the setback of a foot he nearly lost in a boating mishap when daughter Kate was 11. "They operated on him for 18 hours," she remembers. "From then on he was a disabled actor, so the little work that he was getting [on the occasional TV episode] – even that started getting less and less." Looking back, she further says, "My dad was very much a struggling actor and spent more of his life as a postman, as a member of a tarmac firm, as a van driver. He'd sell Christmas trees. Anything. That was my dad. We had these dreadful second-hand cars that would always die a death, or we'd go on holiday to Cornwall, come back and it would have been [stolen]."
She likens her early life to a bleak comedy. "It's like a [macabre playwright] Joe Orton farce, my family," she says.
